24’ CONFIDENCE LINE
BUILD CONFIDENCE AT LONGER DISTANCES, AND DEVELOP THE CANTER.
TOUCH THIS • SPIRALS • TOURING CIRCLES • TRANSITIONS • SWIRLS & TWIRLS
The further the horse is from you, the more potential there is for it to disconnect, lose confidence and get emotional. Module 4 in Linda’s How to Talk Horse curriculum, is called “Confidence”! It is the perfect time to introduce a longer line with specific outcomes in mind.
24’ long with HHHL leather popper end
½” smooth yachting braid
Removable/replaceable swivel snap
SAFETY TIP: Learn to smoothly handle the slack in your rope to prevent your horse stepping on or over it. When using a longer line like this, the goal is to have your horse at - or close to the end of - the line otherwise there is no point using a longer line! Be careful not to have too much ‘tail’ of the rope around your feet, and especially if you’re wearing spurs - which is NOT recommended when playing on the ground with longer ropes.
